Ball & Vance Fish Co.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ball and Vance Fish Co. refers to the episode I Love Sushi in a popular children's television show, Drake and Josh. In this episode, Drake Bell (Drake Parker) and Josh Peck (Josh Nichols) sign up for a fictional television program, Pump My Room. When the two brothers begin making the application tape for the show, Josh suggests that the two try to get their living room "pumped" for their parents' 5th anniversary. After the producers for this show accept Drake and Josh's application, they request that the Parker/Nichols household is cleared out for six hours. While Drake and Josh take their parents out for an anniversary dinner, they come home to find they have been robbed by the "television producers". Once Josh feels guilty for this whole mess, he suggests that He and Drake get a temporary job to pay for the furniture. Drake agrees, and soon they had a job at Ball & Vance Fish Co. a fictional company named after Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance, two stars of the popular television show, I Love Lucy. Drake and Josh are assigned to package sushi, and the whole thing goes seriously wrong, comparable to the I Love Lucy episode, Job Switching. When Drake and Josh return from their job, they find that the police department has found their furniture in a broken down truck.
