The Bali Children’s Project is registered in California and Indonesia as a tax-exempt (501(c)(3)) educational non-profit, dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in Bali through education. The BCP depends wholly on donations from corporations and individuals, all of which go in their entirety to support the organisation’s educational programs.
Seven kindergartens and pre-schools have so far been opened in different parts of Bali, with more in the pipeline.
The Bali Children’s Project web site provides details of the educational programs, as well as extensive information about Bali, Balinese culture and history.
BCP programs include sponsorship of individual children, family support, school improvements and teacher training. To benefit even more children, the BCP is also active in creating Montessori-based kindergartens in a growing number of communities throughout Bali.
