Balearic cuisine is the set of typical dishes and ingredients of the diet of the Balearic Islands in Spain. Traditional Balearic cuisine is closely related to other Mediterranean cuisines, especially Catalan cuisine, in that it is rich in vegetables, cereal and legumes as well as being low in fats. A succinct selection of the primary dishes would be lobster stew, cheese and wine.
