The Baldy Man was a character played by Gregor Fisher, a Scots comedian. His chief attribute was his comb over hairstyle as well as his bumbling nature and plump figure. The series achieved respectable viewing figures but was not as successful as Mr. Bean. The show is not currently available on DVD.
He first appeared in a series of sketches in the BBC Scotland show Naked Video.[1]

The Baldy Man was the title of a television show broadcast in two series comprising thirteen episodes on ITV, screening in 1995 and 1997.[1] (The show was screened on Network Ten in Australia and internationally). Similar in style to the Mr. Bean series, the show was a sitcom with little to no dialogue.
