[edit] Bald Freak Music

Bald Freak Music is the official indie record label for Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (guitarist of Guns N' Roses 2006 - ), Q*Ball, Return To Earth and Swashbuckle.

The New Jersey-based label is the brainchild of Ron Scalzo (a.k.a. Q*Ball), a former NY radio employee, electronic musician and all-around good guy. After horror stories involving both independent and major labels with friends and other artists, Scalzo came to the conclusion that "just because a label can do something, doesn't mean they will." Scalzo's experiences as an artist with said labels have proven that point many times over, which resulted in him starting the label to release his own material and projects starting in late 2005.

The label has released nearly a dozen albums since its inception, including the debuts of Brooklyn, New York's Black Pig and New Jersey pirate metal band Swashbuckle. Thus far, the artists on Bald Freak have had music featured on various reality shows on MTV and elsewhere, in independent films, TV and radio commercials. Bald Freak artists have shared the stage with various name acts including Guns N' Roses, Gavin DeGraw, Mýa and Nancy Sinatra. Tours have spread as far as France, Sweden, Russia, Holland, Italy, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
