Balashov (Russian: Балашо́в) is a town in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It is located on Khopyor River at 51°32′49″N, 43°10′24″ECoordinates: 51°32′49″N, 43°10′24″E. Population: 98,330 (2002 Census). It was home to Balashov air base.
