Balady

Balady (Arabic: بلدي‎) or Baladi is an Arabic word, meaning the endemic to an area (antonyms include shami or chami, meaning "imported" "immigrant").

Some citrus species or varieties throughout the world are so named. [1] [2]

Baladi is also the name of a duple meter used in Arabic music.
