[edit] Summary

Book cover for Harold Pinter: A Bibliographical History, compiled by William Baker and John C. Ross, British Library and Oak Knoll Press, 2005, for use as illustration in a section about this book in the Wikipedia article Harold Pinter and academia.

[edit] Fair Use Rationale

  1. This is a promotional photo of the book cover (from the catalogue of the publisher) for use in the split-off section of the article on Harold Pinter which describes this book; it is called "Harold Pinter and academia".
  2. For a source of the photograph of Harold Pinter in the book cover, see the Nobel Prize website, where it is an illustration for the transcript of the "telephone interiew" conducted with Harold Pinter on the morning of the announcement that he had won the Nobel Prize in Literature (13 Oct. 2005).
  3. Credit there is given to the photographer: Martin Rosenbaum. (Such content--the portrait in the book cover, e.g.--from the Nobel Prize site may be reprinted only with permission from the Nobel Prize. This image is not taken from that website, however.)
  4. The book cover itself--a photograph used in Wikipedia Harold Pinter and academia#Harold Pinter: A Bibliographical History--seems within fair use provisions of US copyright law given its being confined to a section about the book only.
  5. There is no expectation at this time that a free image of this book cover can be found as a substitute for this image.
