Bakrol

Bakrol is an Indian village were Vallabh Vidyanagar was born. It has become recently a part of Anand, Gujarat.

As of the 2001 India census,[1] Bakrol had a population of 20,000. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Bakrol has an average literacy rate of 80%, higher than the national average of 59.5%(55% of the males and 45% of females literate). 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
