Baker Hostetler is an American law firm. In 2006, the company was rated the 94th largest law firm globally [5], employing more than 600 attorneys. Headquartered in Cleveland, the company has offices in New York, Washington, D.C., California (Los Angeles, Costa Mesa), Florida (Orlando), Texas (Houston), Denver, and Ohio (Columbus, and Cincinnati). Baker Hostetler’s practice groups include corporate, litigation, intellectual property, employment and labor, tax and employee benefits.
In a 2005 survey by BTI Consulting Group, Baker Hostetler was ranked among the top 24 firms considered to be the “Power Elite” in terms of providing superior client satisfaction. [6]
In 2007, the Los Angeles office of the struggling law firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist decamped to Baker & Hostetler.
