A Bajracharya is a Buddhist priest among the Newar communities of Nepal. Bajracharya in fact means "vajra holder". They are also commonly called Guruju which literally means teacher. To be a Guruju, bajracharya person must go through a secession of being a guruju. When the bajracharya boy goes through a ritualistic process of initiation, shaving off the head as the buddha and going around asking for alms at least 7 houses a day in different places.
