Baixa de Cassanje

Baixa de Cassanje (also called Baixa de Kassanje) is a kingdom in Angola.[1] Kambamba Kulaxingo was its king until his death in 2006.[2]

The January 4, 1961 Portuguese attack of Baixa de Cassanje initiated the Angolan War of Independence.[1]
