Bairabi is a census town in Kolasib district in the state of Mizoram, India. It is also the railhead of Mizoram, 130 km from the Capital, Aizawl.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Bairabi had a population of 3304. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bairabi has an average literacy rate of 69%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 19% of the population is under age six.
