Bailey Road School is located on a hill, between Bailey Road and Cotswold Lane. Within the vicinity of the school are Penrose House and St Bernadette's Catholic Church. There are some magnificent views from Bailey Road School If one looks north, one can see Rangitoto Island. If one looks south, one can see over towards Mangere, Manukau, Otahuhu and Manukau Harbour.

There is a swimming pool which under certain circumstances, may be open to the public during the summer months.
