Bailee Madison (born October 15, 1999) is an American child actress. The youngest of seven, she made her debut in an episode of Cory in the House and also appears in the film Lonely Hearts. She is most famous for her role in the 2007 film adaption of Katherine Paterson's Newbery Medal-winning novel Bridge to Terabithia in which she plays the younger sister of Jesse Aarons, May Belle Aarons. When not acting, she enjoys riding her bike and playing with her friends.[1]

She made her major motion picture debut in the movie Lonely Hearts alongside Salma Hayek and John Travolta in which she plays Rainelle, a girl thrown into the midst of a world of crime. Madison also has a significant role in the Disney movie, Bridge to Terabithia, based on the children's book. She plays Maybelle, who is the younger sister of the lead male character played by Josh Hutcherson. She also appears in the darker independent film Look as Megan, a young girl who is being watched and followed by a kidnapper.
Bailee can also be seen in Nickelodeon's made-for-TV movie, The Last Day of Summer. She plays a young girl who helps a friend during a difficult time. Bailee began her career when she was only two weeks old in an Office Depot commercial. Since then she has appeared in several national commercials for major companies including Disney, SeaWorld, and Cadillac.

On March 30th, 2008, Bailee won a "Young Artist Award - Young Actress Age Ten Or Younger" for her role in Bridge To Terabithia.[2]
