Talk:Bahá'í Faith in Denmark

[edit] "Hvad ei Baha'i Berageken?"
This is nonsense. Neither "ei" nor "Berageken" are words in Danish. "What is the Baha'i Movement?" in Danish is "Hvad er Baha'ibevægelsen?", but I do not know if that was the title of the book.
- Thanks - perhaps you could peruse the original ref and request clarification.--Smkolins (talk) 01:20, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
315. Esslemont, John E. Hvad ei Baha'i Berageken? [What is the Baha'i Movement?]. Translated by Johanne Sorensen. [Denmark]: 1926. Listed BW IV, p. 296; it is not clear what the original text was.

- where BW IV, p. 296 is probably "Baha'i World" volume 4, page 296. Mind we dealing with jumps in mediums - books to internet. I could imaging "er becoming smudged into "ei" to an reader. I also don't know the translation step(s) involved. I'll try to see if I can find what that mention is on page 296. From there one could pursue asking various authorities of those sources (say the NSA of Denmark or the Universal House of Justice seeking clarification or correction.)--Smkolins (talk) 04:52, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've commented out that part (just hidden it) until this info can be gathered. I don't have the volume myself. I'll keep looking though.--Smkolins (talk) 22:41, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
