Bahrain Air (Arabic: طيران البحرين) is the second flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The low-cost airline plans to initially operate scheduled services to 13 destinations in the Middle East.[1] The airline plans to increase its destinations to 14 cities by April 2008, 23 cities by 2009 and up to 25 cities by 2010.
Bahrain Air started operations on February 1, 2008.[2] The airline will use a modern Airbus A320 fleet, with 12 seats in business and 150 in economy.[3] It will initially fly on Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Mashad, Beirut, Amman and Alexandria routes.
