Bahattin Sofuoğlu

Bahattin Sofuoglu (Turkish: Bahattin Sofuoğlu), born 1978 in Adapazarı, Turkey was a successful motorcycle racer for the Turkish Honda team.

As son of a motorcycle dealer, he started racing in 1997 at the age of nineteen. After a brief but successful career, Bahattin died on October 25, 2002 at the age of 24 following a traffic accident as he was hit by a car while he was crossing the street. His two brothers Sinan and Kenan are also successful motorcycle racers.
