[edit] Portuguese link for: Humberto de Alencar Castello Branco
Phe-bot has "corrected" the link to the Portuguese site to remove the double l from Castello. This is incorrect - the double l is there in the Portuguese. Bagunceiro (talk) 12:54, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, looking article history, actually the name is Castelo not Castello - phe 13:04, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

- It's wrong - check out the Portuguese wiki. Failing that would the Brazilian government's presidential gallery or the biography here persuade you? The error is understandable because the word for castle, "castelo", in Portuguese has a single l. But not in this name. Bagunceiro (talk) 09:56, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- did you follow the pt: link ? actually the name on pt is pt:Humberto de Alencar Castelo Branco, there is also a ref to explain why they use Castelo not Castello: À época de seu nascimento seu sobrenome era grafado Castello Branco, cuja grafia segundo o formulário ortográfico vigente é Castelo Branco. Pelas regras ortográficas vigentes, pessoas falecidas devem ter a grafia de seus nomes atualizada. Phe-bot (talk) 10:23, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- I did, but it has changed since! I don't agree with it, but that's not a discussion for here, of course. Bagunceiro (talk) 10:48, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] That caculation made no sense
1 km2 = 1,000m2 and not 1,000,000m2.
100 cm = 1 m
1 km = 1,000m
7 km = 7,000m
7.84km = 7,840m
7.84km2 = 7,840km2 and not 7,840,000m2
See Manhattan, Wikipedia says it has a population density of (25,846/km2) or 25 people per m2. You have to think about 25 people on tall buildings not on the ground.⇨ EconomistBR ⇦ Talk 16:44, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Let's analyse your number .0204 people per m2. It takes 49m2 to get 1 people.
So in 490m2 we would find only 10 people.
In 4.900m2 we would find just 100 people.
In an area bigger than Copacabana, 9.800 m2 there would be just 200 people. When in facct there should be 160,000 people.⇨ EconomistBR ⇦ Talk 16:58, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Your calculation makes no sense at all. L*L is used to get an area of a quadrangle, not to convert km2 into m2
20,400 per km² EQUALS 20.4 per m²
Divide 20,400 by 1,000 = 20.4
Divide 1 km² by 1,000 = 1 m²
What you are doing is:
Divide 20,400 by 1,000,000 = 0.024
Divide 1 km² by 1,000 = 1 m²
It makes no sense at all.
