[edit] Tone
The current version of this page feels insufficiently encyclopedic in tone; in places it seems more like cover copy. Brendan 02:11, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

- I actually had a better synopsis, but the guy set it back. I put a new one up, moved the spoiler to my synopsis (since the old one was more like the back of the book anyway), and added trivia: something that should be in any king novel wiki. Removed the mention here of Cara Laughs, since I put it on the trivia.--Kozmik Pariah 10:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maine Zoning District Abbreviations
Here's some info on TR-90 Thanks to Bev and timdog@earthlink.net for this: "TR" is never defined outright in the novel -- it is a Maine zoning code for an unincorporated residential area. The area where most of the novel's action takes place is not a town, per se, but just a loose assemblage of houses, shops and summer homes. The locals refer to it by its zoning designation: TR-90. Zoning Districts are named based on their predominant characteristics:
CP Coastal Protection CC Commercial Center CR Country Residential CU College Use FF Farm and Forest HC Highway Commercial I Large Scale Business MU Mixed Use R Residential TC Town Center TR Intown Residential
[edit] Favourite?
I removed this sentence from the article: "It is King's personal favorite of all his novels." I removed it because there is no source given and seems unlikely to be true.67.142.130.37 20:40, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Synopsis
Someone really needs to write a better synopsis for this. Many of the details are out of order, poorly written, and in some cases just wrong. It looks like whoever wrote it didn't even read the book...
[edit] Kidnapping by Max Devore
It would be awesome if someone would fix the entry regarding who actually kidnapped the little girl. Max was dead by this point and his daughter(disguised as someone else while Max was a live) actually did the kidnapping. I don't have a copy of the book at my disposal or I would edit it myself.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Bagofbones.gif
Image:Bagofbones.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:58, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
