Bagrationovsky District

Bagrationovsky District (Russian: Багратио́новский райо́н) is a district (raion) of Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. The district's administrative center is Bagrationovsk. District's population: 45,672 (2002 Census); 39,724 (1989 Census).

The district is one of the westernmost in Kaliningrad Oblast. It is situated south of Kaliningrad, at the border to Poland, and is populated sparsely.

The Prussian Eastern Railway, together with another railway line connect the raion to Poland. Two roads also lead through Bagrationovsky District to Poland.

Most important river in the district is the Prokhladnaya, which mouths into Vistula Lagoon.
