[edit] Advertising

I notice you are primarily using wikipedia to promote your website. This is not allowed. The purpose of this site is to create an encyclopedia. I ask that you read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and abide by it.

I am going to remove many of your edits as they are considered advertising, and the article you made must meet the criteria in Wikipedia:Verifiability and Reliable sources. Continued advertising will result in the blocking of your editing priviledges. Thanks. HighInBC 21:06, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Not more than many others

Actually, I have added references to my company SearchAvenue, only when there are references to my competitors. It's only fair that my company be mentioned when others are too. Thanks. Bernard

The real problem is that you are adding your own company. If another editor did it, and it added to the encyclopedia it may pass, it may not. However, it is clear from your edit history that this the only thing you are doing. I also noticed you removing a mention of your competition. HighInBC 21:23, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

This is the guideline I was looking for: Wikipedia:Autobiography HighInBC 21:26, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

I did *NOT* remove anything. I might have moved some text around in my edits, but the result was not a deletion of any text. Bernard A. Ferret, CEO, SearchAvenue.com 21:30, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps I was mistaken, I will look again. Sorry. HighInBC 21:30, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Hmm this is the edit I was reffering too[1], perhaps I am wrong in assuming the company you removed was your competition. You did replace it with your own. Perhaps it was a mistake. HighInBC 21:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Not too fast my friend, please be more careful in your analysis. You can see perfectly that the text you say I removed actually appears IN ITS INTEGRALITY in the paragraph I added. Again, I just moved the text, in a new paragraph. Also, to be fair and balanced, I even ADDED A COMPETITOR that was not in the article before (science.gov), because it is of interest to the public.
