Wikipedia:Bad Articles can become Good Articles

Often, a comment brought up at deletion discussions is that "this article will never get any better." That is, it might meet the notability requirements provided, but it is unsalvageable. While this is true in some cases, a bad article only needs the attention of a single, dedicated editor to improve it. Badly-written, unsourced, in-universe and crufty articles can become Good articles... and even featured articles. Example: Compare Master Chief (Halo) then... and now. Similarly, compare this to this. This is hardly limited to fictional subjects of games or videogames, but these are often the most crufty and good examples.
