[edit] My Five Articles

[edit] JDoramas

[edit] Gokusen

Gokusen is a Japanese Drama based off of both a book (manga) and cartoon (anime). This Drama is about a woman who finally reached her dream to become a teacher. She reached many problems however because not only is her class made up of delinquents with bad reputations and no desire to learn or listen to her, she is the next heir to the Oedo Family, a family of Yakuza(gang members). If her identity is found out then her teacher position would be revoked and she would never be able to teach again. The series is short, having only 12 episodes and a special and is followed by a sequel and coming this summer, a third installment. On this page I will be able to add to the incomplete cast list, some of the lead actors are left out and I would be able to add pages to these missing people. [1]

[edit] Kimi wa Petto

Kimi wa Petto (you are my Pet) is about this serious businesswomen who is too busy with her job to enjoy life fully. She can never keep a boyfriend because of her impossibly high standards and overall lack of interest in the suitors. One day while walking home from work she discovers a box outside of her building complex. Inside is a boy who was beaten up badly. Taking him into her home she helps him regain his health and for her kindness he decides to be her loyal pet. With only making her happy in his mind Momo as she calls him (peaches) teaches her to open her heart and to find the joy that life has to offer. Kimi wa Petto is one of my favorite dramas and there are some key pieces of information that are just not there. [2]

[edit] Hanazakari no Kimitachi he

Hanazakari no Kimitachi he (for you in full blossom), Hana Kimi for short, is a drama that is based on a book (manga). This drama is a very cute story of a Japanese American girl who is amazed at a High Jumper in Japan. Deciding impulsively that she must meet this athlete she has grown to idolize, Mizuki Ashiya goes to Japan to go to school in the hopes of meeting him. Unbeknownst to her family she has enrolled into his school, an all boys school! Cutting her hair and binding her chest, she disguises herself as a teenage boy and as fate would have it eventually becomes his roommate. Along with many dramatic occurrences and funny situations, Mizuki Ashiya and Sano Izumi (the athlete) become very close and as their friendship grows Mizuki finds it harder and harder to keep both her growing affections for Sano and her identity as a girl a secret. Reading the books since I was twelve years old and finishing just two months ago, this page is complete when it comes to the books yet lacks almost all information on the dramas. There is a Japanese drama and a Taiwanese drama and I would be able to at the very least talk about the differences between these two and the book series. [3]

[edit] Taiwanese Actors

[edit] Mike He Jun Xiang

Mike He is a Taiwanese actor and singer. Starting as a model, Mike He began doing music videos, both appearing in them as an actor and singing either backup or lead vocls. After being seen as a music video actor and singer, he was asked to do a drama. After his first drama Mike He had launched his career foundation and since then has acted in many dramas, singing the theme songs for most. I would be able to change a lot on this page because there isn’t even a picture for him. Along with adding a picture I would be able to complete the list of music videos he has been in since there are many that are missing. [4]

[edit] Rainie Yang

Rainie Yang is also a Taiwanese actress and singer. She has stared as a singer in a group that did not hit it off. After the group went their separate ways, Rainie hosted her own talk show. Later she found her talent in acting; she began doing dramas starting from when she was very young. Singing most all the soundtracks to each of her dramas, Rainie also has many albums of her own. She now has two movies that she has been in the latest of the two being very controversial as she plays a Lesbian. In Taiwan this is a very, very controversial topic. Rainie Yang’s Wikipedia page is the most complete out of the five articles I have decided on but they have left out all of the television shows that she guest stared in and more information on the show she hosted. I could add these television appearances as a new heading and that would pretty much complete this page. [5]
