Badminton, Gloucestershire, England is famous for its Horse Trials, that take place early in May of each year on the grounds of the Duke of Beaufort's residence, Badminton House.
This is attended by many of the Royal Family, and most of the top riders in Europe. An air show was held in Badminton until the early 1990s, when new safety rules forced it to close.
