Badajoz UFO Incident
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
At the dawn of November 12 of 1976, at the Base Aérea de Talavera la Real (Talavera la Real Air Base), located at the province of Badajoz, Spain, the soldiers José María Trejo and Juan Carrizosa Luján allege to have seen and shot a being of unknown origin.
Both were patrolling the fuel area. At 1:45 am they were about 60 meters away from each other, and they heard a noise similar to radio interference. Suddenly, the noise became and acute whistle that lasted 5 minutes. When realizing that the noise was close to him, José asked his comrade to follow him on a rigorous inspection across the area, fearing it was sabotage.
The whistle began again, and both felt their spandrels were about to explode. More 5 minutes have passed, and the whistle ceased. Right after it, they sighted an intense bright in the sky, that lasted 15 seconds. Another guard appeared along with a guard dog.
Together, they moved all across the area, which was used to storage fuel tanks for jets. The place was very dark, and the guard who brought the dog feared the base was being invaded. The dog remained calm.
When they arrived at certain point, they felt a whirlwind. They loaded their machine guns and remained in total silence. Soon they heard the sound of eucalyptus twigs being broken. They freed their dog, who rushed towards the point where the broken twigs sound came from. Soon, it returned sick, as someone had scared it. The soldiers reanimated the dog, that returned to the point for many times, all of those with the same results. So, the dog started to walk in circles around the three soldiers, a technique taught for dogs, aiming the protection of the person.
Alarmed, the soldiers prepared their guns and the dog began walking faster and faster. Trejo looked briefly to his left and saw a green light. The light had human shape and was very tall, at about 3 meters tall. It seemed formed of small light points, and the bright was more intense at the edges. The head was small and covered by something like a helmet. The arms were very long and were crossed. There was no sight of hands or feet.
Paralyzed by the fear and the surprise, Trejo could not fire. He fell down at his knees and fainted. By watching Trejo’s fall, his friends opened fire against the creature. About 40-50 bullets were fired, and when the being was hit, the bright became more intense and it disappeared.
While Trejo was being helped, the same sound hear before was heard, lasting 10-15 seconds. After that, the silence returned to the base.
Next morning, some 50 men searched all the area. They discovered that there wasn’t any capsule of the bullets fired by the soldiers, nor the holes that should have been opened at the wall behind the creature. However, the Air Force concluded the machine guns were fired.
Until nowadays, there is no answer to what had the soldiers fought with. But most of the people involved to the case agree it was something involving extraterrestrials.
