"Bad Blood" is the twelfth episode of season 5 of the television series The X-Files. While investigating bizarre exsanguinations in Texas, Mulder kills a teenage pizza-delivery boy whom he "mistakes" for a vampire. Awaiting a meeting with Skinner, Mulder and Scully attempt to get their stories “straight” by relating to each other their differing versions of what happened during their investigation.

At 34m08s as Mulder is breaking up a chair, the hand of a crew-member can be seen to the left of screen providing Mulder with a ready-shaped stake to drive through Ronnie Strikland's chest.
According to David Duchovny at Wondercon 2008 in San Francisco, Bad Blood is Gillian Anderson's favorite episode. “She loves Bad Blood… every day it’s ‘Bad Blood-Bad Blood- Bad Blood!”
