Bad Animals Studio

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bad Animals Studio is a music and media recording studio on 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle. It was originally founded as Steve Lawson Productions by founders Steve and Debbie Lawson in 1979. In 1991, Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson (of Heart) joined forces with Lawson to create Studio X. In 1992, the studio borrowed the name Bad Animals from Heart's 1987 studio album Bad Animals.[1] It has a highly acclaimed large studio, Studio X, for large band setups, and orchestras etc.

In July 1997, Bad Animals sold Studio X, and the Wilson sisters sold their interest in the company back to the Lawsons.
