[edit] 3D Monster Maze
I was checking out some of our video game featured articles, and I noticed that 3D Monster Maze had some image problems. I'd thought I'd give you a heads up in hopes you could fix them. Almost every image is in need of fair use rationale, and I believe Image:Malcolm-Evans-NGS98.jpeg has an incorrect license. The email provided on the image description page appears to be a "for use on Wikipedia" license, not a statement of public domain.
Also, the Harvard referencing notes don't appear to be linking properly (for me, at least)—are you opposed to switching to the <ref>
style? It would look like the method used in Shen Kuo, where the footnote would link to a Harvard ref–style note, with full references listed below. Pagrashtak 18:51, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- It looks like the template problem occurs in Firefox. It works in IE. For the image, have the copyright holder agree to license the image under the GFDL. You can take a look at Wikipedia:Example requests for permission for an idea of what to say in this regard. Pagrashtak 14:51, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:3DMonsterMaze.JKGS.tape-cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:3DMonsterMaze.JKGS.tape-cover.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

[edit] Image:OSH2003 Polikarpov I-16.jpg
FYI, I noticed that Image:OSH2003 Polikarpov I-16.jpg image was tagged for lack of information and is in danger of deletion. It seems like user that transfered it to Wiki Commons did not transfered much of info from the original location. You might want to add some information about the image. --Jarekt (talk) 15:13, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
