[edit] Period synthesizers?

The article says the music is played on "digital and other authentic period synthesizers." Excuse me? What "period" are we talking about? The '80s (when the album was released)? And if they're not digital, aren't they analog? Why "other"? I think this sentence needs some clarifying. The same phrase is used in the Beethoven or Bust article, BTW. - dcljr (talk) 20:06, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
