[edit] Rule Changes

In the game there are a few exceptions to normal baseball rules. If a runner is caught stealing to end an inning the player at bat is not charged with an at bat but does not start off the next inning. Also when a hit would be called a single, reached to second on throw, or a double, reached to third on throw these hits are tallied as double and triple respectively. Also if you hit a double then get caught in a pickle and tagged out you don't get a hit. The game also fails to keep track of a team's record and statistics over the course of multiple seasons. The same goes for player stats. The game fails to keep track of lifetime and post-season stats as it did in previous games.

[edit] Trivia

  • One of the fields in the game is "Tokyo Field" an obvious spoof of the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
  • 11 backyard kids, Jocinda Smith, Mikey Thomas, Kimmy Eckman, Billyjean Blackwood, Amir Khan, Ronny Dobbs, Sally Dobbs, Luanne Lui, Gretchen Hasselhoff, Kenny Kawaguchi, and Stephanie Morgan, are all discontinued.
