Back to Basics Tour was a concert tour to support Christina Aguilera's third album Back to Basics. The tour was by far Christina's most lucrative to date. The tour grossed $48.1 million on tour in North America alone.[1] According to Billboard, the tour grossed $85 million in ticket sales alone.[2] Aguilera Tour merchandise grossed over $20 million in sales.[3] All this was the most profitable tour of 2007. The tour was considered to be Aguilera's biggest and most extravagant of her entire career.

  • During a show in Philadelphia, actor David Arquette was picked as part of her Nasty Naughty Boy performance.[4]
  • During the show in Manchester, UK Manchester United player Christiano Ronaldo was spotted in the VIP area with girlfriend Gemma Atkinson.
  • At her Tampa concert, the Pussycat Dolls joined Aguilera for a performance of 'Nasty Naughty Boy'.
  • During the concert in Los Angeles. at Staples Center, Will.i.am appeared as a guest to perform Beep alongside with the Pussycat Dolls
  • Royals were seen attending Christina's show. During her Singapore show, some fans saw the Sultan of Malaysia sitting in the V.I.P. area, and in Thailand, the granddaughter of the King of Thailand was seen in the V.I.P. area too.
  • Actress Bec Cartwright and Tennis star husband Lleyton Hewitt were spotted in the audience at the Sydney show on July 24th. They were moved backstage before the show and came back out just before the show started as they were receiving too much attention.
  • Christina had her biggest concert attendance in Australia with an estimate of over 30,000 attendees per concert. And the concerts were done for consecutive days and has maintained it's sold out level night after night.
  • This tour was the best selling tour for a female singer in 2006 and 2007, beating up Beyonce's, The Beyonce Experience.

All Concerts in the tour have been filmed for, what Aguilera said was her "Personal Collection" however a DVD came out February 5, 2008. And not the original date due to a copyright argument with the management, and, much like the Stripped Live in the UK, is expected to accompany a full length Show, from the Australian tour Show in Adelaide. The DVD is named Back to Basics: Live and Down Under.
