Bacinol

Bacinol is originally a codename for penicillin, used during World War II by researchers in The Netherlands, used to keep investigation secret for the Germans. The research was done at the company Gist-Brocades (now: DSM-Gist) in Delft.
Since 2001 the name is used for a defunct building (from 1951) near the company plant, currently used as a building for small companies. The building is due to be taken down in 2008 for construction of the new railwaytunnel in Delft.
