Bacillus oleronius is a gram-negative bacteria belonging to the genus Bacillus. It was first described in 1995 and was found in the hindgut of the termite Reticulitermes santonensis.[1] It is also found in the mite Demodex folliculorum which lives on human skin, and is possibly related to the development of a type of Acne rosacea.[2]
