Bachatsky (Russian: Бачатский) is an urban-type settlement in Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located 190 kilometers (118 mi) south-east of Kemerovo, on the border of Salair Ridge and Kuznetsk Basin, between the Bolshoy (Chernovoy) Bachat and Maly (Stepnoy) Bachat Rivers. Bachatsky is under administrative jurisdiction of the town of Belovo, located 16 kilometers (10 mi) to the north. Population: 14,990 (2002 Census); 13,365 (1989 Census). Area: 19 square kilometers (7.3 sq mi). Postal code: 652642. Dialing code: +7 38452.

It was founded on August 10, 1954. The main industry is coal mining.
