Hi. Where do you get the impression that Hai Teng 海灯 is a title? I'm not a real expert, but I've never heard of a title like that before. Who are the other people who were titled that? Also, my dictionary agrees with you that it should be Făshī rather than Făshi ... So googlefight is not very useful.

Actually, 海灯's name appears as Hai Deng on imdb, because imdb always uses Hanyu Pinyin for everything. It appears a Hai Teng on Amazon.com. "Têng" is pronounced exactly the same as "Deng"; it's just the same thing in Wade-Giles instead of pinyin. So, it's not that "Teng" is easier to say. But, if you want to move Hai Teng to Hai Deng, I won't interfere. It would seem more modern. - Nat Krause^(Talk!) 22:22, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
