Ba Yombe
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ba Yombe refers to people among the tumbuka of Zambia who speak a dialect called chi Yombe. Chief Muyombe is their leader and they have Vinkhakanimba for their annual traditional ceremony. The area they live in is geographically counted as part of the Northern Province of Zambia though linguistically they are closer to the Eastern Province languages. They live on the plateau.
