Ba Dinh (Vietnamese: Ba Đình) is an urban district (quận) of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Ba Dinh is the political center of Vietnam. Most of the government offices and embassies are located here. It is sometimes called the French quarter as opposed to the Old Quarter in the downtown Hoan Kiem district.
