The BA Econ Society is a course based society at the University of Manchester, England. The society caters for the largest course at the University - the BA Economic and Social Studies programme (otherwise known as the "BA Econ"). With over 400 members, the society is one of the largest course based societies at the University.
The society currently provides several main functions - the provision of social events, career events and as a hub for the various course sports teams. In the near future the society is rumoured to be branching out into offering academic help and advice between students as well as other services.
