[edit] License tagging for Image:ALU block diagram.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:ALU block diagram.JPG. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Adder_eq._a.8.1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Adder_eq._a.8.1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] CSULBCECS440
The more you added to CSULBCECS440, the less it became like a Wikipedia article. I have moved it to User:B rip. At a cursory reading, it seems to be a student dissertation. I would point out to you that Wikipedia is not a free host or webspace provider and ask you to take your work elsewhere. (If the computer is notable, then a short article here, on a sensible title might be accepted.) -- RHaworth 02:19, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- The above editor is correct. Using Wikipedia as a host for material that's not related to the project is against policy. I would suggest you take a look at [Wiki hosting sites]. There's no set time before inappropriate material is deleted, it's just done when an administrator finds the time. I recommend you make a backup in case it's deleted. If you confirm your email address, you can hit the "Email this user" link on the left of the screen when you're on my userpage and send me a message. I could offer you a Gmail account which helped me greatly when I needed to back up text documents. - Mgm|(talk) 07:38, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
Please ignore my now-deleted comment - I have now seen your message to Mgm. How long am I wiling to let it stay here? Indefinitely providing you stop editing but pretty soon if you keep on editing! All past edits remain on the Wikiservers. Deleting them merely puts them out of your reach. So if you freeze your activities, the damage has already been done and there is no point in deleting. Conversely, if you carry on doing edits, each edit gobbles up a (tiny) bit of Wikipedia's disk space but indicates that you are still freeloading off us.
Mgm may take a different view! So assume nothing and copy off quickly, please. -- RHaworth 03:29, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] We know where you live
That threat is, I assure you a joke - I am in England and Mgm is in the Netherlands - neither of us is going to come knocking on the door of ECS-545. I assume that you are working in connection with CECS 440. Computer Architecture (3). What I don't get is the size of what you are doing - that module is listed as lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours. -- RHaworth 03:41, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
