B R Birla Public School came to existence as an English medium co-educational school in 1991 to fulfill the long cherished dream of Late Shri Bhopat Ram Birla, the grand father of present Birla family of Jodhpur.
The school is run and managed by a registered body, Bhopat Ram Birla Shikshan Sansthan, Jodhpur, having other branches at Pali and Barmer in Rajasthan.
The Schools are located at
- Jhanwar Road, Beyond 18th Sector Chopasani Housing Board, Jodhpur, in an area of 5 acres.
- Sojat Road, Near Bangur College, Naya Gaon, Pali ; and
- Rai Colony, Barmer.
Since its commencement the institution's contribution has been laudable in the field of education and it has emerged as one of the leading schools affiliated to CBSE, The school is recognized as the pioneer of the concept of day boarding in Jodhpur and progressive education with a definite accent on Indian Culture and traditions.
The school provides a host of activities and the curriculum is so planned that it suits the different stages of development. The students are offered all the three streams - Science, Commerce and Humanities at the + 2 level. The school's achievements in academic and others field has been remarkable. Besides academics the students have brought laurels to their institution by exhibing outstanding performance in various national level inter - school competitions in academic, art, music, dance and sports.
