B.G. Simpson

B.G. Simpson was born in Lexington, Ky in 1978 and is a guitarist/songwriter formerly of the band Waking Season (Sony/Columbia). Waking Season disbanded in April of 2006, and in the summer of 2006, Simpson began writing and co-writing songs for/with Alex Band (The Calling) and submitting songs for Gavin Rossdale (Bush). In 2007 he relocated from South Florida to Lexington, Ky to pursue music. Simpson has since put together a new band and is in the process of recording a full length album with Producer, Brett Hestla.

Co-founded by B.G. Simpson, Mika Fineo and Erik Arimi in 2003, Waking Season was based out of South Florida. Waking Season recorded with producers Brett Hestla (Creed, Virgos) and Justin Thomas (Coarse of Nature, Submersed). They were also signed to Sony/Columbia for a short while, disbanding in April of 2006.
