[edit] Early years
B.G and Gangsta Dresta are African-American rappers from Compton, Los Angeles,California and were first signed to Toenail Records to begin their careers. [1] Eazy-E was an African-American Rapper and founder of Ruthless Records formed N.W.A (Niggaz with Attitude) active from 1986-1991. [2] N.W.A consisted of rappers The D.O.C., Ice Cube, Mc Ren, DJ Yella Dr.Dre and Eazy-E himself, however later on the D.O.C was involved in car accident and lost the use of his voice. After years of successful rapping Ice Cube left in 1990 over royalty issues and Dr.Dre followed in 1991 aiming to begin his own records label - Death Row Records. Since then Eazy-E and Dr.Dre have been feuding and released several diss records. Snoop Doggy Dog from Long Beach, California signed to Death row. B.G Knocc Out and his brother, Gangsta Dresta had minor but important parts on Eazy-E's 1993 album It's On (Dre) 187Um Killa which hardcore dissed Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg and was a huge hit. Eazy-E, B.G Knocc out and Gangsta Dresta remained close friends over the years and they appeared on many of Eazy's tracks until his death from from AIDS-related pneumonia on March 26, 1995, at 6:35 p.m. [3] Later that year, August 15, 1995, B.G and Dresta released their Album "Real Brothas", featuring such songs as 50/50 love and the classic D.P.G Killa - a response to D.P.G. Recordz (Tha Dog Pound) and their rap named "What would you do."
