B.G. The Prince Of Rap is the stage name used by Washington D.C. rapper and dance music artist Bernard Greene. Bernard Greene joined the army after graduating from high school and was sent to Germany in 1985.

His biggest hit came in 1991 when he reached number one on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "This Beat Is Hot" (Hot 100 #72). He followed that up with "Take Control Of the Party," which reached number two on the dance chart the following year. Other well-known songs by this artist are "The Color of My Dreams" and "Stomp".

Bernard Greene is now working at a museum near Wiesbaden, Germany. Greene moved there in September 2005.

One of his songs also appeared on the z103.5 Summer Rush: The Experience CD, "The Color of My Dreams."
