B. J. LaMura

William Joseph (B. J.) Lamura (born January 1, 1981 in Mineola, New York) is a right-handed pitcher in Minor League Baseball.

Lamura attended Clemson University and was the Chicago White Sox fifth-round selection in the June 2002 MLB Draft. He was rated by Baseball America as the No. 3 high school prospect in New York and among the Top 100 in the nation following his senior year of high school in 1999.

Pitched for the Bristol White Sox in 2002, Kannapolis Intimidators in 2003, Winston-Salem Warthogs in 2003/2004 and Birmingham Barons from 2004-2006.

Traded by the White Sox to the Los Angeles Dodgers on July 23, 2006 in exchange for catcher Sandy Alomar Jr..

With the Dodgers he has played for both the Double-A Jacksonville Suns and Triple-A Las Vegas 51s.
