B. J. Harrison

B.J. Harrison is a fictional character from the movie The Godfather Part III. He is portrayed by actor George Hamilton. In the movie, Harrison is the lawyer and close advisor to Michael Corleone. Following the death of Tom Hagen around 1972, Harrison became Michael's advisor. A non Italian, Harrison represents Michael's desire to be seen as legitimate. Robert Duvall refused to participate in the filming of Part III as Tom Hagen, therefore Francis Ford Coppola created the Harrison character.
