hi everyone
[edit] Regarding Uncyclopedia
Hi. No, we can't just add whatever we want to an article, as you did to Uncyclopedia. Some edittors may view it as vandalism. We do not sign nor personalise our articles, that's what your userpage is for, where you can add stuff about yourself: just click on the red "user page" link and start editting. Also, if you wish to experiment, please use the Sandbox. Articles are there so we can edit constructively and work on them. Wikipedia is a project that anyone can edit, but it doesn't mean anyone can add whatever they want. Also, the talkpage of an article is there in order to discuss improving the article, not for general discussion about the subject nor for placing jokes. If you want to add jokes, however, try going to one of the pages in Category:Humor, make sure it welcomes new additions, and add some stuff if you wish, for example WP:EUI. However, try not to get too involved in humor, because that would be straying from the main purpose of editting this encyclopedia: to expand and improve, as well as create, our articles. So, please try to contribute to our articles if you can. The edit that you made to Uncyclopedia was a test edit, and has been reverted. Oh, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks. By the way, here are a few links that might help you get started: Welcome!
