Mission profiles for the B-70 bomber. The dashed profile at the top shows a maximum range mission using in-flight refueling, overflying the USSR at high-altitude, and then landing at Diego Garcia in the India Ocean. The solid line beside it is a maximum-range unrefueled mission, also at high-altitude, landing in Turkey. The line at the bottom of the image is the high-low-high profile, using in-flight refueling and landing in Turkey.
