Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum

The Bürgermeister-Müller-Museum is a German natural history museum situated in Solnhofen, Germany.It was founded in 1954, when the mayor Friedrich Mueller brought his private collection to the public. The museum collection which extends over two floors mainly contain fossil from the Solnhofen limestones, and include pterosaurs, one specimen of the Jurassic bird Archaeopteryx and a fantastic collection of fossil fish.
