Böhler-Uddeholm is a large Austrian company specialised in producing tool steel, welding consumables, special forgings and strip steel. The company has production sites in Austria, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, Belgium, Turkey, China, USA and Mexico.

Since 10 April 1995, Böhler-Uddeholm has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange. In April 2007, voestalpine AG made a bid for Böhler-Uddeholm - the bid was accepted by a majority of shareholders in June. As of October 2007, voestalpine holds over 79% of Böhler-Uddeholm's share capital.
